Pump Clinic - This is a free 20 minute introduction to Pump. If you have never done pump before, or even if you have and you want a refresher this is ideal. It gives you a chance to meet your instructor before your first class too!
Pump – This is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. We use carefully chosen music to guide you through the class with maximum effect. Choose your own weights and improve your strength and endurance whilst burning up to 600 calories per class.
Spin – The indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring instructor who leads you through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Your instructor will lead you and the pack through a journey incorporating riding positions and speeds to suit the terrain. You have the ability to control the intensity of the workout, which means riders of all capabilities can work out together. The more you ride, the fitter you’ll become.
Circuits – This workout uses the entire body, as you work on body movement, agility and momentum. As you progress you’ll quickly become more comfortable with the various techniques enabling you to work faster and burn more calories. If you stick with this workout you’ll gain endurance and strength. If you’ve done circuits before you will like this class, its circuits as you know it but with some extra moves thrown in for good measure! The aim is to get fit whilst having fun-What are you waiting for?!
Step, Cardio, Pump – This high energy class is broken down into three 20 minute sections, 20 of step, 20 of aerobics and 20 of body conditioning. You won’t have time to get bored during this class as the variety keeps things fun and keeps you on your toes! Work at a level that suits you and the more you attend the quicker you will progress.
Spin/Circuits – As the name suggests this is a combination of spinning and circuits. You will complete 30mins of each, which will work your heart, lungs and muscles! The perfect way to end a tough week, and to prepare yourself for the weekend!
Zumba – This class combines high energy and motivating Salsa and latin based music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO” allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.
Zumba Gold – This class follows the same format at Zumba but at a slightly slower pace. Its great for the more mature person, complete beginners to Zumba, people returning to exercise after injury, or for those who haven’t done exercise for a long time and feel out of condition, expect a fun class and the usual uplifting and motivating music!!
Dru Yoga – A graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yoga tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.
Hatha Yoga - is a classical form focusing on both physical (“Ha”) and mental (“tha”) development through the practice of various poses, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises. It can help develop strength, balance and suppleness while cleansing the body and mind through its practice; it is thought to be complimentary for other sports and activities due to these benefits.
